BRONCA Unisex Merino Wool Poncho

Our BRONCA Unisex Poncho is handwoven on traditional looms in Uruguay by skilled women artisans who are the primary providers for their families.

Made from 100% pure Uruguayan Merino wool, the wool is carefully washed three times to create a naturally soft, warm and comfortable finish. Each poncho is crafted using a traditional 1/4 bouclé weave, giving it its distinctive texture and authentic character.

This poncho holds a very special place in the BRONCA story. It is inspired by the ponchos the Portela brothers wore to ride to school in the Uruguayan countryside from the ages of six to eleven.

For us, this is the crown jewel of BRONCA—the first signature piece and the item that inspired us to begin this journey. We hope you enjoy wearing it as much as we enjoyed bringing it back to life.

Each poncho comes with a protective tote bag made from Panama-weave fabric with leather details, designed for storing, carrying and protecting your poncho.
