Care and Preparation

Before first use, cure the natural gourd according to traditional mate preparation methods. After each use, remove the yerba, rinse the interior gently with warm water, and allow the mate to dry completely in a well-ventilated place. Do not leave it soaking, place it in a dishwasher, or expose it to direct heat. The nickel silver details may be polished occasionally with a soft, dry cloth suitable for metal.
